As one of the most prestigious watch companies in the world, Patek Philippe has a long and fascinating history. Two polish migrants established the original firm Patek, Czapek, & Co. in 1839. The exit of Czapek and addition of Jean Adrien Philippe in 1851, produced the current name of Patek Philippe & Co.
